This tour departs from Guayaquil in the morning and heads to the seaside resort town of Salinas. The journey to Salinas passes through arid savannah on the Santa Elena Peninsula, exposing travelers to the varied Ecuadorian landscape. The drive takes about two hours.

Once you get to Salinas, you'll board a boat and head out into the ocean to search for humpback whales. Every year the whales come to the waters off Ecuador's coast to mate and birth offspring. Watching the whales swim in pods and jump out of the water is truly a spectacular sight. After this excursion, you'll visit a small whale museum to learn more about these incredible mammals. Lunch is also included in this tour.

In the afternoon you'll return to Guayaquil.
